Property and energy management project in Leipzig
decon actively supported the successful start of operations of the new administrative building of the Sächsische Aufbaubank (SAB) as part of a facility management project accompanying planning and construction.
In addition to other real estate and energy management projects in Leipzig, this project was also successfully supported by decon.
On July 1, 2021, the new building of the Sächsische Aufbaubank - Förderbank - (SAB) in Gerberstraße 5 in Leipzig was opened with the first employees moving in. A modern administrative building with adjoining public square (forum) and underground car park was built in a central location in Leipzig's city center. The new building with first floor and four upper floors is designed for up to 500 workplaces.
Since 2017, decon was commissioned by SAB with the facility management accompanying the planning and construction and actively supported the preparation and implementation of the subsequent building operation.
This included both the creation and coordination of strategic concepts for subsequent operation as well as the ongoing development and specification of detailed operational management concepts. Important aspects included the definition of relevant process flows, benchmark analyses, cost forecasts and recommendations on the personnel structure for building operation. Based on this, decon also prepared and accompanied the necessary tenders for technical and infrastructural building management by external service providers. Due to the very trustful cooperation with SAB, decon continues to accompany this project in the course of the implementation phase and the transition to regular operation.
